Mr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 1986, magna cum laude, and his juris doctorate degree from Capital University Law School in 1998, magna cum laude. During law school, he served on the Executive Board of the Capital University Law Review. Prior to joining Carlile Patchen & Murphy, he served as the judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Luse and the Honorable Judge Clark of the Fairfield County Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Brown practices in civil litigation with particular experience in commercial contract disputes, construction law, and securities litigation. He is admitted to the Ohio Bar and the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. He serves on the Boards of Directors for the American Red Cross of Fairfield County and Fairfield Industries, Inc. He is a member of the American, Ohio State, Columbus, and Fairfield County Bar Associations.
