Mr. Friedberg is a member of the Ohio and Florida Bars, and practices in bankruptcy and insolvency law, civil litigation and arbitrations, commercial law, real estate law and closely held business counsel. He is listed in "Who's Who in American Law", 10th ed., 7 ed., and as an AV lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell.

Prior to joining Carlile Patchen & Murphy, Mr. Friedberg was a partner in a large regional law firm and a solo practitioner, with representations such as creditors' committee counsel in chapter 11 cases for the $2.4 billion Cardinal Industries, Rax Restaurants, and Mark Pi Restaurants, debtor's counsel in cases such as the Madison's and Youthland, and numerous creditors in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy matters. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics ranging from Real Estate Liens, Bad Faith in Bankruptcy, The Commercial Eviction Action, Bankruptcy and Real Estate, Environmental Law Liability in Ohio's "Prompt-Pay" Law, Mechanic's Liens, and Ohio's notaries public laws.
