Mr. Bibart received his undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard in 1964 and his J.D. degree from University of Michigan Law School in 1966. From 1967 through 1983, he engaged in private practice, specializing in the federal tax and business areas. In 1984, he joined Red Roof Inns, Inc., and became its President and Chief Executive Officer. He joined this firm in January 2002.

His practice focuses on representing business clients in the formulation, negotiation and implementation of business strategies and transactions, with specialized emphasis on federal tax planning aspects. He represents clients in federal income tax audits at the Revenue Agent and Appellate Conference levels. He is a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations (and of certain of the Tax and Business Sections of those Associations), and serves on the boards of A Call To College and the Wolf Creek Trout Club. He is a past president of the Board of Trustees of Northside Child & Family Development Center.
